Getting Here by Car

If  travelling by car It is advised that you book your return vehicle  journey from Ardrossan to Brodick well in advance  at https://www.calmac.co.uk

As you exit Brodick ferry terminal, turn left up the hill and drive south on the A841 for 3 miles.   As you drive downhill into the village of Lamlash the road takes a sweeping right turn at the sea front, beyond which you should drive a further 800m and look out for the Pier Head Tavern and Made on Arran Craft shop on the right hand side. Turn  immediately right between these  2 premises.   Drift Cottage is 150m directly up the  Brae . There is  private  parking  for 2 cars  in front of the cottage.

Getting Here by Railway

Trains to Ardrossan Harbour ferry terminal depart from Glasgow Central station on a regular basis. Trains are scheduled to meet the ferries, there is only a very short  walk between station and terminal.  It is also possible to book your return railway journey from any UK Railway station which includes  your return ferry journey. Getting Here by Ferry

Take the car ferry from Ardrossan terminal to Brodick.

You may purchase your ferry tickets in advance at https://www.calmac.co.uk or purchase them at the ferry terminal.

The Island has a good bus service and a bus to Lamlash meets every ferry arrival and departs from the Brodick bus/ferry terminal.
