Drift Cottage is situated in an elevated position just a short stroll from the heart of Lamlash on the Isle of Arran, off the west coast of Scotland.

The village has excellent amenities and dining opportunities all within a short walking distance which include:

There is a small Co-operative supermarket in the village with a larger Co-op 3 miles away in Brodick

Woolley’s Bakery next to the police station in Lamlash is excellent

The village also has a chemist and health centre, and there is a local hospital with A&E dept

The public tennis courts with rackets provided are not staffed (So please don’t forget to put some money in the honesty box)

A small ferry to the Holy Isle & mackerel boat fishing trips can be booked at the pier

Johnston’s Marine Store at the pier provides Chandlery and offers watersport goods, fishing tackle, bait and a wealth of local knowledge
